Journal Text

Before my subscription run out I feel like to update a journal and display some of my :+fav:s .

Big My Secret
And I'm calling attention to my piano playing video I posted at youtube.

I have been playing piano for more than two years now. I can't believe that I am now able to play the very song that made me want to play piano, which is Michael Nyman's Big My Secret. If you are interested please visit my YouTube page . But I regret to say that I can't reply to messages there as we are not able to visit youtube for now in China. I still want to upload my piano playing video there when I myself can't view the video and need to sneak onto the computer at my work to access my youtube account (youtube does not allow logging on via IPs which are suspected to be proxies). It's because I saw quite many (and met a few) people like me, playing piano out of pure interest. If some day I can't visit dA I would still want to upload my art here. :D

Oops I didn't intend this journal entry to be ANOTHER whiney post about internet censorship...

Water of Mars
So, I watched Water of Mars yesterday. No, sorry but this is not doctor who. The recent specials The Next Doctor, Planet of the Dead and now Water of Mars are all disappointments to me. I love Russell T Davis a lot. Steven Moffat writes clever stories, but RTD writes with greater spirit in my opinion. RTD is the one who wrote "lots of planet have a North!", he was the one who started it all with a simple "Run!". But I don't know why his humour and dynamic is not seen in the recent specials.

I have been reading RTD's Doctor Who: A Writer's Tale. It's a very inspiring book! Not only for DW fans! Strangely it lead me to listen to Mika. I do not listen to pop music, but now I'm having an unusual obssession about Mika's music.

Journal CSS
I'm messing about this journal CSS thing. Anyone seen a decent tutorial? Like a list of element names defined by dA?

And here goes...

Thanks for watching! I've been wanting to do Firefly fan art for ages... (Well but the artist in me is very diva, she just don't always do what I want.)
