Let me be one of the first to have a fan art of the 11th Doctor.

My original reaction to the casting was like 'are you kidding??'. I had thought David Tennant was among the younger doctors (at least by looks). But after watching this guy talk, I am now very optimistic about this choice.

So I dropped a few other drawing projects in mind for this one. He has huge, gorgeous hair! (I never had good solution to hair though...) I am happy about the overall look. :D I really enjoyed drawing this on and off for the last week.

Yay! Matt Smith as the 11th Doctor!!! :dance: :love:

It is an odd feeling uploading something that you just know there'll be hundreds and hundreds of pictures of in a couple of years!

the portrait is fantastic and is the first piece of artwork I've seen of this actor.
I admit that when I first saw him I was a little disappointed, but
I remember seeing him in Ruby and the Smoke and frankly, he was the best thing in it.
So I too look forward to seeing him in the series.
